Feeling overwelmed
2008 March 28
- One friend’s daughter has been found, at 5, to have a hole in her heart and need open heart surgery. If you happen to be in the L.A. area and have type O blood, feel free to e-mail me about donating for her surgery.Â
- A friend of a friend’s twins were born at 24 weeks, 1lb each, with multiple medical problems.
- Kitten’s mom has been very ill, although she is on the mend.
- Heather is going in for a C-section (please wish her well).
- Maizie struggles daily with CVS.
On the other hand
- Three seperate friends are leaving for China soon to adopt their second children.
- Janet is leaving soon to adopt two siblings from Africa.
- and thing here are just
fine horrid.
I suddenly understand about the old Chinese custom of proclaiming loudly about how horrible things are when they are fine to confuse the evil spirits. So, for one brief moment, let me jsut say, things suck. Pass us right by, because things really just suck.

I can so relate to this … that is an interesting custom. I may adopt it
Glad to read an update I was beginning to fret.
Oh Becca … is using scissors … my stress level has decreased and now I can freak out that eventeen is NOT a number … or is it?
Thank you for mentioning Maizie. I am sure we will see the light soon! Today was a better day then yesterday and I am praying it is because of the medication increase and not just a fluke.
I don’t know if it will ease your worries at all but I have had two friends now that have children who have had holes in their hearts. One did not require surgery and the other one did. Both are doing fantastic.
I hear ya, loud and clear.
BTW, my niece, my hero, who I often post about on my blog had a whole in her heart and had open heart surgery as well. That was 10 years ago and now she’s good as new. Hopefully your friend’s baby will fare as well.
Actually, she had a HOLE in her heart.
We can’t all be perfect spellers, can we?
Thanks everyone for your suppport. I will update when her surgery is over, but it is going to be, maybe, 6 six weeks.
I hope all goes well with the people you mentioned. I am glad things such around there. I should adopt that custom as well since I can’t adopt any children.
Girl, you need some spice tea and chocolate! Thank you for mentioning me. OMgess! I haven’t been able to read everybody’s blog, so I didn’t know about Heather! Gosh! I feel so bad. My mom is getting sick again, I hope she don’t go down as far this time.
