The Power of Vicks VapoRub
First, welcome to the new blog. It’s going to be basic for a while I get used to the new platform and try to figure everything out. Hope that’s enough of a welcome.
James (and I) have been sick. Last night, he coughed so hard, he threw up (anyone for more visuals. There, in back. The creepy guy.). Initially, we couldn’t find the vapor rub, and settled for an herbal muscle rub. James was not convinced and bemoaned the lack of the vapor rub.
In the middle of the night, I found it, and James exclaimed, “Oh, this is the stuff. It’s more powerful. More powerful than the Justice League.”
“Mm Hmm. And it will help you sleep.”
“It will stun me?”
“Sure, it will stun you.”
He was asleep in minutes. Now, I am a believer in the good powers of vapor rub but I believe that the psychological warfare was stronger than the phsycial in this case. Can you see the commercials? “Mom, I can’t sleep?” “Don’t worry son, I’ll just stun you with this vapor rub.”

The car is fixed!!!! Umm it cost way too much to pass the inspection but whatever it is done.
We have rabbit ears, a friend in the US gave us their old set, but no digital channels up here in the Atlantic region. Maine really isn’t far, but far enough I guess.

Being stunned by vapor rub is a classic! I remember thinking my Grandma had magical powers with that stuff too! I hope you both get feeling well soon. Hugs.

Boy do I sympethize. Both of my kids get coughs so bad that they too end up throwing up
