Take 2

I wrote a post this morning, clicked in the wrong spot, and it was gone. Now, I always laugh at people who do that computer-wise. And here I am. Laugh away.

I’m not ging to recreate the post. Jamie hit his head and is screaming for ice because he can. Darren is trying to get him dressed. We’re going to the Re-store because they’re having a sale and we need concrete sealer for the house before we can put bamboo floors down. I’ve learned a lot about bamboo floors this week. Mostly that flooring slaespeople know nothing about bamboo floors. The spread misinformation. Is it because their company feeds them misinformation? I think so, because one salesman even told us to “Look up the junka scale, you’ll see.” Well, we looked up the junka scale and it told us the opposite of what he was saying. Bottom line, bamboo flooring is cheaper than most hardwood flooring and just as good or better. This can’t be good for the bottom line.

Jamie and Darren are good. I wonder why I seem so different from all the other moms I know. Why do I think taking Jamie to the grocery store and letting him out of the cart is good for him/ a learning experience and CAN even be enjoyable while other moms bribe their kids into the cart? Just one example. The other post was longer with this kind of stuff, but Darren’s ready for me to be done.

The house looks great. The brown coat is done (last coat before the color goes on) and the wallboard is up. As people said, it makes the place look much larger. I’m so ready to be done.
